Designing for a Modern Icon: Our Modular Kitchen & Walk-In Closet Project for Kylie Verzosa
Kylie Verzosaâs home was designed to mirror the calm, elegance, and intention she brings into her life as an actress, entrepreneur, and Miss International 2016 titleholder. Our goal was to create spaces that balance beauty with daily practicalityârooms that feel serene and grounded, yet fully capable of keeping up with her fast-moving lifestyle. The result is a modular kitchen and walk-in closet that reflect not just her personal aesthetic, but also the rhythm of how she lives.
The kitchen is wrapped in warm natural wood cabinetry and anchored by a striking marble backsplash whose soft gold and grey veining creates a sense of quiet sophistication without overwhelming the space. Open shelves with integrated lighting turn everyday objects into curated accents, making the room feel personal and lived-in rather than staged. Every appliance is positioned intentionally to preserve visual serenity. The refrigerator is fully integrated behind cabinetry, the dishwasher disappears into the millwork, and even the washerâdryer is hidden beneath the counter behind matching doors. Kylie can manage day-to-day routines without ever breaking the kitchenâs visual flow.
More than just beautiful, the space is flexible. The modular cabinet system allows the kitchen to evolve over timeâstorage can expand, appliances can be upgraded, and functionality can be reconfigured without redesigning the entire room. This adaptability was essential, especially for someone whose lifestyle shifts constantly between filming, travel, content creation, and downtime. The kitchen is not simply designed for today; it is built to grow alongside her.
This approach extends naturally into Kylieâs walk-in closet, which was crafted to feel like her own private boutique rather than a traditional storage room. A glass-topped wardrobe island displays accessories in soft-lined compartments, transforming belts, sunglasses, watches, and jewelry into a curated collection. The act of choosing an outfit becomes a peaceful ritual rather than a frantic search. Her handbag display sits on softly lit shelves with rounded edges, giving each piece room to breathe, highlighting textures and silhouettes in a way that feels intentional and artful.
Along one wall, Kylieâs handbag collection is displayed on softly lit open shelves. The spacing was intentionalâeach piece has room to breathe rather than being stacked or crowded. Rounded vertical edges soften the built-ins, giving them a sculptural presence in the room. Across from the bags, a dedicated shoe cabinet organizes her pairs by purpose and frequency of use: event heels, everyday favorites, seasonal styles, and current rotation. Lighting is placed in the corners of the shelves to illuminate silhouettes without washing out the textures or colors. This system helps Kylie choose quickly while keeping every pair accessible and protected.
The centerpiece of the closet is a custom glass-top island that turns personal belongings into a curated gallery. Each drawer is lined to protect delicate finishes and arranged with compartments tailored to Kylieâs lifestyle. Jewelry sits in velvet trays, rings are displayed in rows, sunglasses are separated to avoid scratching, and belts are stored in coiled compartments to preserve structure and hardware. What could easily become clutter becomes a calm archiveâan organized inventory of memories, outfits, travels, and milestones. In a profession where wardrobe is part of identity, this space gives Kylie clarity, not chaos.
Every detail in Kylie Verzosaâs home is designed with purpose. Nothing is ornamental without function. The kitchen supports daily routines while shielding them from view. The closet respects her collections while guiding her through them. Both spaces are modular, forgiving, and ready to grow with herâquietly luxurious, deeply personal, and always evolving.
