We are proud to share our recent project at the Skypod Cebu, the beautiful residence of celebrity couple Engr. Slater Young and Kryz Uy. Known for their modern taste and eye for design, the couple has always embraced clean, contemporary interiors while staying true to natural and sustainable elements. For this reason, they chose our Modern Bamboo® finishes to enhance their home with warmth, texture, and functionality.
One of the standout features in this project is the installation of our Modern Bamboo® Cladding – Small Wave on the entrance ceiling. This detail introduces a sense of rhythm and movement to the space, immediately setting a welcoming tone for guests. To achieve a seamless look that matched their overall aesthetic, the couple decided to repaint the panels, demonstrating how paintable and versatile Modern Bamboo® products truly are. Whether kept in their natural tone or customized with color, they effortlessly adapt to different interior styles.
We also provided our Modern Bamboo® Baffle, which the couple cleverly used as a cover for their standing air conditioning unit. This design choice wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was also about practicality. With intentional gaps between each piece, the baffle allows for proper airflow while keeping the equipment neatly concealed.
